About Kinnective
I understand the work well enough to redesign how the work gets done.
Eighteen years inside marketing organizations — agency and in-house — leading teams, managing clients, running marketing programs, working across analytics and systems, and fixing the processes behind the work.
MEET THE FOUNDER
I'm Elise Connors, founder of Kinnective.
I spent 18 years inside marketing organizations, both agency and in-house. I've led teams, managed clients, oversaw marketing programs, worked across analytics and systems, and fixed the processes behind the work.
Over time, I realized the problems I was best at solving usually weren't marketing problems. They were operating problems inside marketing organizations. Things like: unclear ownership, broken handoffs, invisible capacity, approval bottlenecks, reporting assembled by hand, and high performers quietly compensating for a model that no longer fit.
That realization became Kinnective. I now work as an operations architect, advisor, and fractional operations leader for marketing agencies and in-house marketing teams.

Why marketing
I know the work because I spent 18 years inside it.
My background spans the functions that marketing organizations actually run on. It isn't a service list. It's why I can look at how your team works and see where the operating model is making the work harder than it needs to be.

Built to Run
Systems that run. Results that last. Good marketing operations should outlast the person who built them... including me.
Documented, not remembered
The operating model lives in writing your team can hand to the next hire.
Owned, not assigned
Every workflow has a named internal owner with the authority to run it.
Durable through turnover
The system survives the departure of any one person — including the founder.
How I work
Engagements that fit the moment.
Listen first
I start by understanding the work — the real workflows, the handoffs, the friction leadership may not see from where they sit.
Name the real problem
Most capacity problems are clarity problems. Most tool problems are agreement problems.
Build what sticks
Workflows, ownership, and documentation your team can run confidently after the engagement is over.
What I believe
A few principles I keep coming back to.
Clarity beats cleverness.
A simple, well-named workflow everyone understands will outperform a clever one that lives in one person's head.
Systems should support marketers.
If the tools are burying your team, the answer is rarely another platform.
Diagnose before you hire.
Most “we need another person” conversations inside marketing teams are really “we need to fix the upstream workflow” conversations.
Heroics aren't a strategy.
When the launch only happens because two people stayed late, that's a flag, not a feature.
Who I help
Marketing agencies and in-house marketing teams.
Agencies whose growth is outpacing their delivery model, and in-house marketing teams where campaign volume has outgrown the operating model behind it.
